Join us online to “Move, Groove and Improve” for Seniors Week, June 1-7, 2020.
The City of Richmond, Community Associations and Societies, and other Community Partners invite those 55+years to participate in a full week of fun and engaging virtual activities to keep seniors and their families healthy, active and connected.
All activities this year are offered online. Start off the week by watching Mayor Malcom Brodie on YouTube officially open Seniors Week in Richmond.
Throughout the week take part in virtual activities, workshops, and classes. To begin with, enjoy a live performance online by the Tropitonics Steel Drum Band. Relax with activities such as music and guided stretching. Get active through guided fitness classes including yoga and low-impact aerobics.
Participate in challenges such as a virtual scavenger hunt and a photo challenge for the chance to win great prizes. Contribute advice for the Seniors Wisdom Corner to be shared with the community. For those 90+ years, take part in a special Fancy Hat Challenge and Virtual Tea Party.
