Facilities

City Centre Community Association plays a key role in creating an inclusive, safe, and accessible community in Richmond’s city core. Our facilities are especially designed to meet the diverse needs of a dynamic, urban community.

Our programs are managed and offered out of two facilities. City Centre Community Centre is firstly our main business centre for the city centre area. In addition, Lang Centre is our primary secondary location for community programs. We also offer excellent programs in other satellite facilities such as parks and schools.

City Centre Community Centre

City Centre Community Centre is located in the heart of Richmond’s city centre. We are at Minoru Boulevard and Firbridge Way. Our LEED Gold certified facility opened in 2015. It subsequently provides over 28,000 square feet of community space. Visit us for programs for all ages, community events, and more.

Ready to get involved in your community? Register for programs for all ages that take place in our modern aerobic and dance activity studio, art studio, and sound-proof music rooms. Drop by our modern 4,000 square foot fitness centre for a workout. In addition, you can have a seat in our community living room anytime to relax and enjoy our free wifi.

Looking for space for a private event? Rent our meeting rooms and spacious multipurpose rooms for your next event. Celebrate in style by booking a children’s birthday party package.

Parking: As an urban centre, paid parking in is effect. Public transit is thus encouraged. The rate for the on-site parking garage is $2.50 per hour.

Relax outdoors in beautiful Lang Park outside the centre. The park includes a children’s play area in addition to the Splash Pad, a water play feature that is open in summer. Borrow sports equipment and toys for free from the Live 5-2-1-0 Playbox to also enjoy and use while in Lang Park.
