City Centre Community Centre has something for everyone! We have registered and drop-in programs for preschoolers, children, youth, adults, and seniors, in addition to special events and more. Check out our latest Seasonal Guide to learn what’s happening now and how to register!

Volunteer

Interested in helping with special events, working as a volunteer leader in our programs, and more?  A wide variety of fun opportunities await you at City Centre Community Centre! We offer volunteer opportunities for youth, adults, and seniors.

Share your skills and meet new people by volunteering your time to help the community. We have short and long-term volunteer roles all year round. For example, help out with set up, marketing, and activities at community events. Act as a mentor and volunteer leader in daycamps for kids. Take on an ongoing leadership role in a seniors drop-in programs such as Karaoke. Get involved and help plan our programs and events by volunteering with a Board Committee.

We are grateful to our generous sponsors who help support our community events and our programs for children, youth, and seniors. For example, local businesses support our programming through in-kind donations such as hot coffee, tea, or food. In addition, companies make financial contributions to our nonprofit society.

Careers

Interested in working in the field of recreation? Our community association staff work with all ages in recreation, child care, sports, and arts programs. For example, jobs include Fitness Instructors, Program Instructors, Youth Development Leaders, and many more.
